As the pot stands on four legs creating space and creating the impression of height. It also makes it a little easier to move when making your way around with the vacuum, now who doesn’t love that? Tip: Metal pots do not breathe easily, so choose hardy plants to keep them in and keep your plant in an inner pot to prevent the pot from rusting. Keep in mind if you place the pot in direct sunlight it will heat up quickly and dry out the soil and roots.

INDOOR PLANT POTS - WHAT SHOULD I THINK OF?

Consider these points when decorating with plant pots indoors:

    • The plant pot should be the same size as the plastic pot the plant comes in.
    • Choose a taller and larger pot size for plants with a larger root system to prevent the plant from becoming too dry or sitting in water and rotting - the roots should have room for a few more centimetres of growth in the flowerpot.
    • The material of the pot should be chosen with care! Plastic, glass and metal pots do not breathe as well as terracotta and clay pots.
    • Do you have a plant that is very sensitive to too much water? Then terracotta and clay pots are best as the material easily absorbs the water.
    • Choose a self-watering pot for herbs or plants that require a constant flow of water.
    • Did you know that plants can improve indoor air? So treat your plants with care and they will look after you back! <br>
